Per GCPS: No Parking on the Street

Gwinnett County Schools are starting the new school year this Monday, August 5, 2024. Please remember the school buses need a clear path on our streets to ensure a safe pickup and drop-off for our children. Therefore, please DO NOT park your vehicles on the street in front of your house. Our community has been notified in the past by the Gwinnett County Public School Transportation Department that we were in violation of providing a safe travel corridor for the county school buses. The violations consisted of safety hazards caused by vehicles parked on the streets and cul de sacs preventing the school buses from being able to drive through the neighborhood safely and preventing the buses from being able to turn around in the cul de sacs. In order for them to continue to provide near home pickup, the following actions are required:

    * Eliminate vehicles from parking on our streets

    * Cut limbs that overhang the sidewalks and streets

Our neighborhood will continue to be reassessed for safe travel during the school year.

Please ensure we all take the appropriate actions to keep our children and bus drivers safe!

Thank you!
